Certainly not another blog/writeup on love would this article be. There has been many in past times who has spoken in prose and poetry about this quality in men in particular and life in general. The expressions of people has been quite balanced when it comes to dissing it or glorifying it.. As the great Persion poet Hafiz once said about love :
Even after all this time
The sun never says to the earth, “You owe me.”
Look what happens with a Love like that!
—It lights the whole Sky.
Well i chose to take an earthly example. There has been numerous poets and people whoz wrote on mortal love between forms. So has there been literature on the oder side of it. The greek goddess of Love and fertility was herself condemned of using love to destroy her lovers.
Says hero Gilgamesh to Ishtar(goddess of fertility, love, war and sex),
‘and thou hast dug for him seven and seven pits! Thou hast loved the steed, proud in battle, and destined him for the halter, the goad and the whip
With utmost respect to the ones that lived i would present thoughts as they are and as they originate. Sometimes placing love as the strength pill, the quintessential quality of humankind and sometime comparin it to venom that stings and leaves a displeasure.
