Until I Sink

One dull burning winter afternoon
Beneath the shades of a banyan tree
Bunking out of the packed classrooms
To feel the lush and verdant greens
To admire the bright and natural spree
When I suddenly realize..

Well, the charms of life are scattered everywhere
And I’m a pleasure picker
Will assemble them all from every corner
And distribute them to all for free
Won’t mind if nothing’s left for me
I’ll take peace when I see other’s smile
I’ll be happy to make their life worthwhile.

And about me,
About me just don’t care
Arrun Pareek …
A name just written on sand beaches
Trampled by all feet
Of both owns and unknowns
Leave humans aside
Even distorted by these cruel currents of oceans
Every letter of mine is meant to fade
Every part of me is meant to sink………
