We say we are social, civilized and fine
They say they are more cooperative and finer
Still we’ve both drawn an infinite line
Demarcating our boundaries,
Limiting our interaction,
Dividing our common motherland…
Still we both don’t understand
Each other’s intense pains,
Each other’s fathom sorrows, each other’s plight..
Still we doggedly fight
On things wrong and right.
In the name of love religion and community
In the pretext of harmony, peace and integrity..
Still we seal our borders
Still we shut our doors
Still we close our shores
For one another..
And yet express deep satisfaction on this so called “socialism” and “cooperation’!!!!!!!!!
They say we owe them
We say they owe us
Still we keep creating myriad fuss
On every moral matters,
Of every humanitarian issue,
On each and every background..
Still we both keep shouting aloud,
That we are the perpetrators of peace,
That we believe in equality,
That we sows seeds of fraternity,
That we scatter joys all around,
In this sovereign, secular world..
Still we laugh with all our breath
At each other’s loses,
Each other’s disasters, at each other’s death..
Still we have each other’s to blame
Still we feel no punch of conscience, we feel no shame
Still we vilify each other’s name…
And yet say that we owe
When we talk friendship but act like foe!!!!!!!!!!!
They say we try to maintain peace
We say we have been keeping peace
Still we shell out vengeance
Treat each other’s like snakes,
Smell fish in every attempt,
To foster ease, to sustain peace…
Still we spit out venom,
Spell curses with our tongue,
Serve each other with hatred,
Wrapped in bouquets of flowers….
Still our hands are red with innocent blood,
Our heart over drowned with evil vexations,
Our mind stuffed with malicious guilt,
Which even the greatest ocean can’t purify,
Rather it’s water will lay maligned…
Still we indulge in battles
Still we keep fighting wars
Still we blood each other’s with scars
Still we fire bullets on back
And yet we preach peace
When we have broken our magnum motherland to pieces!
